It is not MY list.

A lot of French come to Viet Nam. Attracted no doubt by the scene of the most embarrassing military defeat ever experienced by a colonial power.

Disagree. Laos has the most baguettes in SE Asia, but Thailand's are better. The Lao ones tend to be too airy.

Big C Extra. (And in Chiang Mai, Rimping.) As good as the best baked in France.

The Big C Extra shops (ex-Carrefour). Don't know about BKK, but they're pretty good in Chiang Mai. When we're there, it's usually Rimping though. They are very, very good.

Quite rare to find a decent bakers , you have the Tesco one of course but not great bread

I eat the German black bread mainly now coffers mate, love it ,Its from working with the Krauts in China

Tesco bread is rubbish.

I've sometimes brought bread from Chiang Mai back here, but made a bit of a boo-boo last time. When I got back here, I realised that I'd inadvertently brought a load of purple bread instead of brown with seeds.

If a Brit loses at something I always prefer the victor to be Irish or an Aussie as we pretty much all share the same bloodline

If he`s french or an argie however........
